Designs are fun as the pieces all come from my own thoughts. First come the fleeting ideas at any given moment. If the ideas stay and gain more form, I will sketch the initial concept in a sketch book or any available writable surface. The cliche of doodles on napkins are true. The sketches are then further explored to see if it will merit any advancement. Sometimes, the idea will just remain as doodles and never become anything. Other times, the pages are revisited and old ideas are re-discovered.

Some of these ideas were fully realised into furniture pieces. The moment when something that was just a thought becomes a real object is alway full of joy and wonder.

I am fascinated by the process of creating and am inspired by others who do the same.
